First Time We Meet
2014Tito didn’t realise what his future held when he first caught sight of Tyra at varsity campus. But there she was in her brilliance lazing across a picnic table waiting for class to start. Through mutual friends and a couple of awkward interactions later, Tito and Tyra became the best of friends – which they have remained to date. It was at least a year and a half of friendship before the two – at various stages – started developing feelings for each other.
First Date
04 November 2016Tito and Tyra started dating on 03 November 2016 and the very next day they went on their first date to Starbucks. There they not only enjoyed each other’s company but also enjoyed the high-speed internet. This was the first time Tyra slapped on a pair of heels with a nice dress for Tito and Tito was gobsmacked. Unfortunately photos weren’t taken on the first date because the couple was too infatuated with each other, but here’s a picture of a follow up coffee date.
Marriage Proposal
26 October 2023Tito and Tyra went to Ludgwig’s Rose Farm under the guise of getting fresh air and doing something different – much to Tyra’s ignorance. Of course Tyra was so busy taking photos of the beautiful roses that she didn’t realise what was about to happen. Thank goodness though because now we have an impromptu photo of the moment just before the proposal. Of course Tyra said yes and embraced a nervous and sleep-deprived Tito. And the rest is history.
Our Engagement
26 October 2023Having been a couple for seven years and counting, the only real change during their engagement was making the commitment to one another more official… and having a fancy ring for Tyra to wear. Between the moments of stress and expectations of life as well as coping with the vast amount of wedding preparations, Tyra and Tito appreciate every opportunity for quality time together more and more. The couple has also enjoyed sharing their engagement with their family and friends and cannot wait to share plenty more memories all together.
